CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Camp Møns Klint and Klintholm Gods Lake Apartments both get their water supply from the estate’s own waterwork. The water is fresh, clean and naturally filtered by the many layers of chalk more than 75 million years old. The water slowly goes through the ground in the area of Møns Klint, Klinteskoven and the naturally rough grazing areas nourish the many wild and edible mushrooms, fruits, herbs and plants which grow on the East coast of Møn – among other things the many rare orchid flowers, that only grow in this part of Denmark. Bryghuset Møn also uses the filtered water from Klintholm Gods in the production of bottled beer and water, aswell as the local gin producers Isle of Møn Spirits. Therefore, you can say, that Klintholm Gods is the main provider of fresh, pure water on the entire island.
